How the crown fits the natural tooth is imperative to the longevity of the tooth and crown.
The fit of a crown is verfied by taking an X-ray before it is cemented.
Crown fit is best verified by diagnostic perpendicular X-ray ("Bitewing") can show the fit of the crown in between the teeth, and, by or under the gumline.
We never attach a crown (cement/glue) without our patient’s consent on the:
SHADE, SHAPE, FIT, & BITE POSITION.
